The elementals

Alright, this is a roleplay I made a while back on a site that will remain unnamed due to embarrassment called The Elementals.

Basically, its a group of kids training to be, what's called, the elementals. The children, when born, had a slight aura to them, which when hitting adolescence sparked into magical abilities. These abilities were the control of a single element, one child of each element. The elements are fire, air, water, earth, light, and darkness. When the abilities finally struck a man known only as "The Master" hunted them down in an attempt to train them and teach them to master their abilities and hopefully use them for good. He took them to an island to hone their abilities, and also to train them in the use of weapons.

Okay, now that you know the story let's get down to business
Basically, we need a person to play fire, air, water, earth, light, darkness, and the master...of course we can play without them all, but it would be nice to have. They can have any personality you want, just so long as you don't try to take someone else's element.

The kids get a little of the abilities of their own element, but at first are kinda slow about it so don't try to use them at full blast in the beginning. However they get better over time so as it progresses don't hide your abilities. And anything you can think of goes as long as it pertains to your own element.

The world is a fantasy world, but there aren't really any mythical beasts. I suppose mainstream ones like dragons and griffins can work, but please don't make any off the wall creatures off the top of your head just yet. Also, the world would be around medieval times in terms of development, so weapons like swords and bows apply.

Now for a rundown of the things that people can control
Fire: fire
Water: water, ice
Air: wind, lightning
Earth: earth, plants
Light: light
Darkness: darkness
The Master: everything (he's called the master for a reason)

I guess I will be light then. And the role placement is a given on any rp site btw. Its common practice.

tis very true, i remember a bunch of the rps i used to do on the other site i was a part of...happened quite a bit
