School Rp Pitch

So I am contemplating a school rp. If, per say, this rp is agreed upon, it will be much like RR and i will dedicate a forum to it for maximum enjoyment. Let me know so I can start with the structuring.

Well like RR this will be a forum dedicated rp so I plan to make it last for awhile. As for what type of school this is.....I can't be sure just yet. Though the point is that this is a school setting, fashioned in a more collegiate setting. It will definitely be more than just a normal school so take ideas for your characters styles from things such as hogwarts with more buildings and stuff. This should be pretty big and make a huge crash hopefully. We shall see how this goes.

Collegiate setting? Hmm, I think I know a bit of what that is like. Sounds like a good idea. One problem, though. We would need people to post when they log on to continue the stories.

Now why does that feel like a guilt trip forming in those words Soul? Point being, the more the site has to offer, the likelihood of members arriving more increases. Now I will post on RR soon, I mean I am not burning myself out creatively on just one site you know lol.

Just more of a statement than a real guilt trip. And I think what he means by a Hogwarts setting is just a big campus with multiple buildings. But a magic school would be cool.

More or less the time frame I was told was to get on every night. Just trying to fulfill that.

If it is X-men-like, I don't think it should be limited to just one weird power. There should be an option to have additional ones, but there should be some connection between them. Like control over water, such as moving it around, and being able to freeze it or melt ice.

Well its not based off of X-Men so no worries there. I was actually thinking about classes of abilities that one can study. Like someone being proficient in Illusion could advance their skills to Shadowmancy. Things around that general area, though a little more detailed.

Granted illusion fits into reality, shadowmancy stretches into that realm of X-men/people with freaky powers.

Hey I never said anything about obeying reality haha. I mean c'mon look at RR I love open possibilities.

Well in all basic terms I just want to make an interesting school venture with the same layout as RR that way it wouldn't be restricted to just one thread and the possibilities could really grow.

Honestly, we placed that restriction. Other stories can run while our's is running. Just start a new thread or have parallels, like Kragel describing what he is doing while away from us.

I see your point lol, I think I just get carried away with creating a ton of worlds and landscapes and such.

i didn't mean that you couldn't have an infinite world of possibilities within those powers, aka your water example

and for what was said about shadowmancy...it has nothing do do with illusion, illusions are false images, while shadowmancy is bending reality a bit...but sure, i like what you're going for

do the school thing, i have some ideas for a character now

I guess that just leaves it up to Elazul to go and start it up. Once it is going, maybe we can have both stories running.

well...iunno, i like the school idea but there are some things that are just iffy to me...we need a set foundation!
