Companion: Wyth, a young blink dog she rescued as a pup after his pack was slaughtered by humans. His looks resemble a coyote with sand coloured fur, with flecks of black and grey. Sariel is capable of understanding his complicated barks and yips that sound completely incomprehensible to everyone else.

Clothes: Simple black trousers that allow movement, along with a black shirt. The clothes are worn and torn in some places. Around her waist is a belt, from which hangs her dagger. She often wears a cloak for warmth, and to keep her face hidden. It is mottled brown and green, allowing her to blend in with the trees.

Armor: None

Weapons: A simple dagger with a green emerald on the hilt, that has been passed through her family for generations.
An Oak staff that is normally carried on her back. It is both a weapon and a medium for her magic. It is covered with carved patterns, resembling vines and leaves.

Items: A few medicinal items, and provisions

Abilities: She can understand animals, and connect with them on a different level. She can also merge with trees if she needs to hide, due to her race.

Appearance: She has light brown hair that falls down onto her shoulders. Her ears are pointed like an elf’s, and her eyes are green and cat like. Down the left side of her face are entwining green markings, which start at her temple and go down her neck. The marks cover her shoulder, and the upper part of her left arm. Her hair falls down the left of her face, covering the markings and her left eye partially.

Personality: At first she’s silent and fairly cold to new people, however she soon warms up to them, and her true, kind and caring nature is revealed.

Background: Her parents died at some point in her past. How, when, and what her life had been like before then is something she will not tell. Afterwards she was left alone to fend for herself in the harsh environment of the human plane.
She travels around, never staying in one place. She’ll occasionally take odd jobs here and there if she needs the money, for stuff like clothes or information. Other than that, she’s neglected contact from anyone but the birds and the beasts of the forests she dwells in. Recently she has found a way to the Plane of Forest, where her race originated from.

Other Info: Vondrer Dryads are a completely different race from the tree spirits humans call dryads. They are more akin to elves, the only way of telling them apart by sight being the fact they are often taller, and always have green markings somewhere on their bodies. Their numbers are low, and little is known about them by those outside their race. Few even know they exist, everyone else who meets one just believe them to be elves. They originate from the Plane of Forest where they live among the trees. They have a strong affinity with animals, and can merge with trees for a short amount of time, unlike the spirit dryads, who actually turn into trees.

(Note, I chose a Blink Dog as her companion because they are one of my favourite creatures. Only afterwards did I remember a couple of characters had displacer beast, the Blink Dogs natural enemy)
